@KnickyFrmHarlem @StarWars_Direct Ahsoka is set during or after the events of Mando season 3, which is canonically 9 ABY. Liberation of Lothal is 0 ABY. This version of Sabine has ~10 years of growth and experience, she should be "inspired, but making it her own". Not a copy; I wouldn't stay the same for 10 years
@MrRiceGuy2@rPrequelMemes Also, let's not forget the time Kenobi (admittedly in legends) was absorbed by a Gen'dai and then blew it up from the inside using the Force. That being said legends Gen'dai > canon Gen'dai.
@MrRiceGuy2@rPrequelMemes I will absolutely dismiss that, because it's simply not true that he's "one of the most seasoned and experienced Jedi to have ever lived" 😂
Cal is great, but people really amp him up way too much.
@Role_Play_Chat Also: Greater Gods are so powerful that their power seeps into the world and gathers in individuals known as Pillars, a mortal being that has a fraction of the power of that Greater God for the entire duration of their life. Pillars have totally free will, and there's 1 per God.
@Role_Play_Chat The Greater Gods always existed, and conventional wisdom says there can only ever be those 7 (ignoring the 8th Greater God). Lesser Gods are more diverse in power, portfolio, and how they can come to be. They're also more involved in the world, because they can be.
@Psy_Brian @Iseeyouiktr @TopTierMach @TRHLofficial@Laplusbelle909 @JanglesLad As per the linked article: the studies suggested the same thing: the point of hormone blockers is to stop gender dysphoria from getting worse, not cure it.
The SEGM author uses very biased and misleading language to "refute" the studies claim of the benefits of hormone blockers.
@JediBerby what I see as "typical Star Wars". Which I think would work better for a side story rather than a set of main series stories. I appreciate people who love what Rian did with TLJ, but I think it's those same reasons people love it that it SHOULDN'T be a Skwalker saga movie.
@JediBerby I'm unsure if Rian Johnson should have directed the entire sequel trilogy, it certainly would have been more cohesive and had a singular vision. But I think RJ is more suited to a non-Skywalker Saga set of Star Wars movies. His themes and tone is pretty different from 1/
@zeb_andor I love Starkiller, but he would need some serious revisions if he was reintroduced to the current canon. I would still love to see a Canon Starkiller (powered down, and maybe as an Inquisitor). It's possible to love things that are both canon and legends.
@QuiGonJenna It's helped me to recognise that negative comments about any subsection of fans is just trolling, and not intended as trying to generate a good faith discussion. Regardless of whether the intent is to troll or not, the outcome is the same.
@QuiGonJenna I blame the algorithm. Pitting sequel haters and sequel fans against each other generates big engagement. Especially posts that could be construed as an attack against a particular subsection of the Star Wars fan base.
@OLDUKIEDUDE@QuiGonJenna The Resistance fleet had a pretty strict time limit before they "run out of fuel" - 48 hours. Luke agrees to "train" Rey. Kylo and Rey communicate via the force, AFTER the bridge of the Raddus is destroyed, and that the same day Rey receives her "first lesson". So a few days max.
@SandalsSize11 @QuiGonJenna Or Revan superfans, who believe Revan had "a way better story than any Disney bs". Ignoring the fact that Revan is, quite literally, a self insert for the player.
