Did you know that as recently as 1981, most states had laws that mandated that hospitals and health insurance providers be nonprofit? Think about how the loss of those laws have impacted the vast majority of Americans.
If we truly believe in democracy, we are beholden to take part in the process. And the basic responsibility, the easiest and surest way is by voting. So if you are fortunate enough to have the privilege of voting, I think you should. Even if I am not on your ballot.
