Y1 and Y1/2 had a great opportunity for a one off visit in to the wild area with Pop’s last week. 🌲😃

This was linked to our science topic, where we went on a mini beast hunt! The children found mini beasts such as spiders, wood lice and slugs. They loved every minute. 🐞🕷

Y6 had a great first outdoor learning session with Pops with a focus on Black History Month. We learnt about the influential African-American artist, Alma Thomas, and her work with abstract art and colour that was often inspired by the natural world. 🍂🌲

Year 6 have worked with Pops to learn more about Kindertransport.

We worked in teams to solve a series of hidden clues to translate a story from German into English and then find the solution to an anagram.

Last week we worked in our woodland area to create fantastic pieces of artwork. 🌑🎨

We collected natural materials and used spray paint to create a fantastic picture of the Moon. To achieve this, we used a range of techniques to create layering and depth to our pictures.
