Bringing you the latest research & information on porous liquids! Maintained by @BeckyLGreenaway from @AICooperGroup & @Deborah87357684 from @QUBJamesGroup.
New research highlighted in @ChemistryWorld from @BeckyLGreenaway and our EiC @aicooper, reducing time spent on trial and error to improve the efficiency of the discovery process. Read the story here: https://t.co/SaHqxOjPhy

The 4th Annual UK Porous Materials Conference will be held at Cardiff University on the 1st, and 2nd July 2019. Organized by the capable @TimEasun in conjunction with Tina Duren, @forganross, Darren Bradshaw and myself.
There's a snazzy custom t-shirt, a 3D printed cage molecule and some funky cage colouring designs up for grabs! To give you some inspiration we'll be re-tweeting a few throughout the day ...
We've been a little absent from twitter lately, so we thought we'd have a bit of fun! Tweet us your best porous liquid/porous material based puns to be in with the chance of winning these goodies!!
PhD position available to work in the @PorousLiquids team with Professor Stuart James @QUBJamesGroup . Deadline Friday 16th March. For more details please see: https://t.co/m8qk9OGo39
There's also a PhD position available on the computational modelling of porous liquids with our collaborator Prof Jorge Kohanoff - deadline for applications 23rd Feb! You can find more information and details on how to apply here - https://t.co/B4MG1hQgKo
A Type 2 porous liquid is formed when molecules containing a permanent internal cavity are dissolved in a solvent too large to enter the cavities - we designed porous organic cages containing solubilising functionality on the exterior of the cage: https://t.co/M6iKzNzIm0
There is under a week left to submit your abstract and talk at the UK MOF and Porous Organic Materials Conference at Southampton in April this year!
https://t.co/H31qDG85nL. This is a fantastic networking and speaking opportunity for PhDs and PDRAs!!
And then of course there was this lovely paper by @ThomasDBennett, @fxcoudert, and colleagues, on liquid MOFs published just last year - on melting the MOF retains porosity - check it out! https://t.co/TpJROtYeoA
