It's been only 5 days since President Trump revealed that China illegally acquired data on ~220 million U.S. voter files ahead of the 2020 election, and it's already been pushed out of the news cycle.
And we're supposed to believe the media wasn't in on it?
Everything the government touches gets more expensive.
Everything it leaves alone gets cheaper.
Since January 2000, overall prices are up 93%. Wages are up 131%. Now look at what happened sector by sector.
Prices that exploded:
- Hospital services: +240%
- College tuition: +180%
- College textbooks: +150%
- Medical care: +140%
- Childcare: +122%
- Housing: +111%
Prices that collapsed:
- Cellphone service: -45%
- Computer software: -70%
- Toys: -73%
- Televisions: -97%
That is not a coincidence.
It is a mechanism.
Every sector in the first list runs on subsidized demand and somebody else's money. Student loans pay the tuition bill. Insurance and Medicare pay the hospital bill. Subsidy programs pay the childcare bill. When the buyer never sees the real price, the price stops behaving.
Every sector in the second list makes you pay directly, against global competition. There is no federal television loan program. So TVs got 97% cheaper over the same 25 years tuition nearly tripled.
None of this is new. In 1987, Reagan's education secretary Bill Bennett predicted that every increase in federal student aid would simply be swallowed by tuition hikes. Economists call it the Bennett hypothesis. Four decades of data have called it correct.
And yes, new cars sit on the market side at +25%. Someone will bring up the bailout, which is fair. Washington spent about 80 billion dollars on the auto rescue and taxpayers ate roughly 10 billion of it. But a one-time rescue of two companies is not a standing subsidy to every buyer. You still pay for your own car, and Toyota still exists. Even with bailouts, mandates, and tariffs, cars rose 25% while inflation ran 93%.
So the next time someone tells you healthcare and college are expensive because of market failure, show them the chart. The market is the part that worked.

I want people to understand the enormity of what has been done to us.
From day one the deep state has litigated its way into stopping the Trump administration at every turn, to date, there are over 900 lawsuits and counting.
Activist organizations, blue state AGs, and uniparty allies flooding the courts on borders, deportations, EOs, military policy, you name it.
This is straight color revolution tactics, American style: when Democrats lose at the ballot box, they weaponize institutions, courts, NGOs, activist judges, and use their billionaire funders to manufacture chaos, tie the elected President’s hands with endless injunctions, and grind the people’s mandate to a halt.
They Flood the system with lawsuits, get friendly judges to block policy after policy, bleed out momentum while the media cheers the “resistance.”
This is a classic playbook for undermining the people and the government from within without firing a shot.
NBC, ABC, and CNN refused to air President Trump’s speech on foreign election interference because they say it erodes trust in our elections.
Here’s 4 minutes of Dems eroding trust in the 2016 election.
It’s not principled. It’s propaganda.

Boomers say: kids today are lazy, entitled, glued to a screen, allergic to sacrifice.
The 30-year-old says: you bought a house and a car for the price of my down payment, then pulled the ladder up behind you.
So who is right?
Neither. And there is one number that ends the argument.
THE NUMBER
In 1992, the median first-time homebuyer in America was 28.
NAR's latest survey puts that number at 40. The oldest ever recorded.
Twelve years added to the wait, in a single generation. That is not a personality flaw. You cannot budget your way out of twelve years.
The starter home did not get harder to earn. It quietly stopped existing.
THE WRONG VILLAIN
Ask anyone under 40 who took the house and you get one answer: BlackRock. Wall Street. The funds.
Here is the number nobody screenshots:
- Big institutional investors own less than 1 percent of America's single-family homes
- They own roughly 3 percent of single-family rentals
- The viral "Wall Street owns 20 percent" claim was made up
BlackRock is a decoy. You were handed a villain so you would stop asking the harder question.
And the harder question is not who is buying the houses. It is why there are not enough houses to buy.
THE REAL COMPETITION
The instinct is not crazy. You are bidding against investors. Just not the ones on TV.
- All investors combined bought about a third of single-family homes last quarter, the highest in five years
- Almost none of that is Wall Street giants
- It is small landlords. The guy with eight rentals. An LLC you have never heard of, paying cash, on your street
Ten thousand small buyers beat you to the house while everyone stared at one big name.
WHY THEY EVEN BOTHER
Here is the part that ends the generation war.
Investors are not the disease. They are the symptom.
They poured into houses starting in 2011 because a home became a guaranteed bet. And it became a guaranteed bet because for thirty years, nobody was allowed to build.
- Zoning boards
- Review processes
- Permit queues measured in years
This is not a hot take. Economists on the left and the right agree America is short millions of homes. Their only real argument is whether it is four million or seven.
Every project blocked added to the equity of people who already owned, and subtracted from the down payment of everyone who did not. Then Washington decided the fix for expensive homes was cheaper debt. Subsidize demand. Strangle supply. Act shocked when prices double.
THE VERDICT
This is not a story about a greedy generation. It is a story about a system that worked, then quietly got taken apart.
Boomers were not more responsible. They were handed a country that still built houses. The ladder got sawed off after them, not by them.
Both sides are angry at each other. Neither one wrote the zoning code.
The American dream did not die. It got zoned out of existence, and turned into a rental agreement.
How old were you when you got your first key or are you still waiting?
Every American needs to listen to this entire speech. Not just clips. It is phenomenal. Thank you @SecRubio for recognizing the severity of the problem and most importantly, working to combat it.
The fact that no news station will air the speech tonight is all the proof you need that there is a conspiracy between the major media corporations and anti-Trump sentiment .

@SenSanders It's not complicated. Bernie Sanders is a communist.
Communists want government control over media, health, education, property.
And everywhere communists have ruled, they have used the force of the state to punish anyone who opposes them.
