@MaryOToole10 @greg_jenner Average doesn't mean usual, when we're using it mathematically. The infant and early child mortality rate is most of why these average lifespans were so low. Doesn't mean that most people were dying between 20 and 25, but rather that a whole lot weren't making it to 5.
