@t_talksball@aaokaatlosab@TBLCFC That was the original context of the argument. There are loads of issues with every team’s setup so too overindex and call out United’s play terrible was unbecoming. actual ‘tactics’ can be proven only post October. Anything before that are down to errors/ conditioning
@t_talksball@aaokaatlosab@TBLCFC When people start overexplaining and rationalising the goals they concede to be from errors/ freak of nature, there lies the issue. Same can be said about the 4 goals united have conceded (2 errors + 2 set pieces) but no, we won’t push that.
🚨🔵🔴 Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste: “Barcelona have been a model of professionalism in footballing world for many years”.
“Atletico CEO Gil Marín’s statements crossed about us and Julián a red line and they made me angry”.
Atleti fans,
I am posing this question very sincerely to any of you willing and able to respond, and I hope we can all have a constructive debate.
Everything coming from your circles phrases Barça’s pursuit of Julian as this massive insult - “disrespectful, “lies”, “crossing lines”, but to my knowledge, not once has this notion actually been elaborated on.
My question is simple: what lines have been crossed, and how is Barça’s pursuit of Julian any different from every other high profiling signing?
If they argument is they went to the player first - that is the vast majority of signings in the modern age. And it would be naive at best, and deceitful at worst, to suggest Atleti (and every other club) doesn’t do, or hasn’t done the same.
I’ve also heard “the media” being thrown around. In the suggestion that Julian himself hasn’t been extremely desperate to join, and we’ve manufactured all of this?
Because this is a man who, quite literally, went on public record in the middle of the World Cup to refer to it as his dream.
Again, what’s the angle? What am I missing?
Ultimately, Julian has a contract and your club has the legal right to do as they please. But unless I’m missing something, this outrage over Barça and how they’ve supposedly conducted themselves genuinely makes no sense to me.
And again, I would sincerely be happy to re-evaluate and eat my words if you provide me with valid counter arguments elaborating on what lines we’ve crossed.
Best,
Neal
Colo Barco was getting booed today during Chelsea vs Luton, presumably by Luton fans, just because Argentina beat England at the World Cup.
The funniest part is that Barco didn’t even play a single minute in that game.
I’ve never seen a country take one defeat this badly. The meltdown is unbelievable.
@AllElseIs_Taken All of this doesn’t matter when bang in the middle between Olympic life cycles. All what matters is form in 2028 two months before Oly.
@Mboomo19 Read the article before making the judgment. @ChrisWheelerDM literally wrote if his minor knock is true, he should be back. @SullyTalkz is closer to the news rn.

Christopher Vivell wanted #MUFC to push for Sangaré, as revealed previously.
JWilcox however prefers Ederson as the cheaper option+Vivell could leave #ManUtd next summer if Bayern offer him a transferhead role,Wilcox/Berrada currently lead the football structure at #mufc
In Feb 2020, with my terminally ill (now late) wife dying of brain cancer in a hospice, a Man City ‘fan’ posted my home address on here and on a Man City forum (Blue Moon) & encouraged fellow City fans to abuse & attack me.
I think that's excessive 8/6
Sick to my stomach seeing the level of data availability in other sports, then thinking about how several small, outstanding, and FREE analytics projects all had to shut down today with the same message of “needing to review data usage agreements”
Jamie Carragher Exposes Man Utd & FA Bias

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United closing in on deal to sign Carlos Baleba from Brighton & Hove Albion. #MUFC offer for 22yo Cameroon midfielder ~£60+5m; below #BHAFC valuation but amicable talks continue as all parties work to reach agreement @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/WmP1bD2JuT
@schrutelad Think we missed out on folks like bergvall (though I think it is an arrangement b/w Newcastle-spurs), as well as should have bid for hall way before Bruno g things started (as he was not on wc duty)
@schrutelad Like the players but I don’t think they will work at a big club with limited mins compared to a mid table with more mins for development. Value is there but I think issue is a trade off of players who can come in to get lesser mins, develop and challenge for starter roles.
🚨 Barça are considering ALL OPTIONS to get Alvarez to the club
One option that was discussed recently was for Deco & Julian to become LEGALLY MARRIED 😳
Under spouse’s law, Julian would legally be allowed to relocate to Barcelona to live with his husband, Deco.
