SPLs finest are pictured here with a German Luftwaffe counterpart in happier times. Relations turned sour this week after they sung “Ten German bombers” while celebrating Englands football result. SPLs German expansion, known as the “Steve Panzer-Lehr division” is now on hold.

@Maddie_H_Smith @SharpeBooks I drank gin and wine mainly. I then began counting how many bottles i had drunk, setting a benchmark. During lockdown two I decided to try and to beat that record. Eventually doing so after weeks of constant effort. Should probably write SPLs memoirs next time instead.

Today the SPL weather watching team captured the Malian weather front (pictured below) that caused a 24hr delay. The inbound crew are now hoping visibility and local weather conditions improve by tomorrow. 🤞 #touchandgo

SPLs charitable trust has opened a food shelter for A400 & C17 Sups. Pictured below is a Sup who is often found delayed in an airport. The trust hopes to provide nourishment to these individuals as they contend with 24 delays and cancelled tasking, often without receiving rates.

This SPL mug owner has kindly been given spare airframes by German colleagues today. Witnessing at first hand how often aircraft fail to show, they were keen to give us something to boost the fleet. This level of banter from coalition partners was unexpected but most welcome. 😂

Another tough puzzle for the owner of this mug. Maintaining mental agility during tea breaks is actively encouraged. SPL was of course the inspiration. New to the Rubix Cube he completed it in just 8 moves and 3.46 seconds before retiring from the sport, giving others a chance.
