When you’re in charge of the most powerful military in the world, your words matter. Recklessly saying “no quarter” — which is a violation of the laws of war — is one of many reasons Pete Hegseth is not qualified to be Secretary of Defense.
"The Iranians are selling oil on the global market and presumably receiving payment, which is a resource they can use in the war to help kill Americans. What sense does that make?" @AmbJohnBolton asks.

Gas prices are skyrocketing nationwide.
American troops are dead and injured.
Our longtime allies are abandoning us.
…and the President of the United States has no idea what he's doing.
The Supreme Court has ruled President Trump does not have the authority to unilaterally impose sweeping tariffs on nearly every country under a federal emergency powers law, delivering a significant blow to the president's signature economic policy.
The high court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, or IEEPA, does not authorize the president to impose tariffs. https://t.co/zUjUS1Z14z
BREAKING: Two immigration agents have been placed on leave after appearing to give false statements under oath about a violent encounter in Minneapolis. https://t.co/vbW1WsY0za
The Trump administration has dropped all charges against the men they accused of assaulting an ICE agent with an alleged shovel and broom.
The agent shot one of the men, sparking a several hour street skirmish between police, feds, and a gathering crowd.

Less than 14% of nearly 400,000 immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in President Trump's first year back in the White House had charges or convictions for violent criminal offenses, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security document obtained by CBS News.
The official statistics contained in the DHS document, which had not been previously reported publicly, provide the most detailed look yet into who ICE has arrested during the Trump administration's far-reaching deportation operations across the U.S. https://t.co/yuqhjRiqJy
I just can’t get over this.
This discovery was the result of checking into the viral reports of the DOJ attorney saying “this job sucks.” Then, after reading the courtroom transcript, I was shocked by a federal judge saying the “overwhelming majority” of the “hundreds” of ICE cases he has seen in recent weeks were for people who are “lawfully present” in Minnesota.
If ICE is conducting “targeted enforcement,” why are there hundreds (that only ONE judge has seen) of lawful residents being detained?
Homeland Security’s walk doesn’t match its talk.
Just now: Observers and protesters confront heavily armed federal agents leaving an apparent raid at an apartment building as immigration enforcement surge continues in downtown Minneapolis.
“Put away your weapons you douchebag, nobody is threatening you,” a protester yelled at the ICE agents as they left.
“People are trying to get their kids to school!”
If you can, keep showing up for your community by shopping local and supporting the small businesses that anchor our main streets and enrich the cultural fabric of Minnesota.
Jesse Ventura to Governor Tim Walz: "Hold tight, stand tough, and don't give this guy nothing. Because Donald Trump views any concession as a victory for him, and he needs to learn something, this draft-dodging coward, that Minnesota's not gonna back down from him."
