"very smooth strategy" am I reading this right? Is this a translation thing?
Because either there is a really shit relationship between these two or Fred is just delusional ๐ญ
"Did we see the best Lewis today? He was a minute behind saying weโve got to gamble, weโve got to risk and stay out, and finished third."
๐๏ธ Vasseur: โHe did a very good race, a very smooth strategy, he was able to do a mega long sprint with a very good tyre management with the soft, but donโt be extreme in your opinion.โ
Why is it so hard to understand that a company can hire 3 absolutely shit people in position of power ๐
It's not that: we changed TP already it doesn't work.
It's: we never hire a competent & accountable person to lead us.
We always hide behind corporate whenever thingsgoshit
Different lead strategists, different team principals, and different drivers. Always the same mistakes in the wet. So there has to be a working philosophy that's failing horribly.
Telling you again @ScuderiaFerrari needs a TP who has his shit under control and the team that doesn't shit the bed everytime a call needs to be made.
But again everyone can blame the CEO's and the owner who don't even sit on the pit wall ๐คฃ
I think now everyone will see why Ferrari needs new tp ๐
We saw that in baku it takes our cars 10 laps to get the tires working ๐
Now in wet we put dry tires on, just all around great call ๐ค๐ป
We deserve to be mediocre, we deserve it all ๐ซจ
laura w the clutch heres the tyre sets available
okay so let me explain why i was panicking a little, you have to allocate two sets of tyres for an FP session and at the end you must return it,
so it doesnโt matter that max ran only a medium set weโd have to return another regardless and i was scared weโd have to give up a soft we didnt run but thankfully we sacrificed the hard instead
@liv16_liv The field has already bunched up, mclaren and Redbull are already withing 5 tenths of mercedes swinging between 1-5 thents weekend by weekend, we can expect to have a dominant car that's 1 second faster so that our fuck ups get covered.
They need to fight for every tenth 4/n
@liv16_liv They did the same with Charles in Netherlands, where they put him on overcut strategy knowing full well that overtaking is hard and especially with the under powered engine, it's like ok we know we slow on straights but go overtake ๐คฃ
We playing against our advantage 3/n
@liv16_liv Same in the baku quali, george did his faster lap on the third run while we decide to do only one run for some magical reason. I get it we were too far in baku but were not 8 tenths far. It could have been easily and p6 start if not for luck. 2/n
@liv16_liv What you say is true but the results we got in Hungary, Netherlands speak a truly different story.
If I am not wrong Charles did the fastest laps in both races when in clear air and on similar tired. They mess up too much in quality and can't fight in races. 1/n
Says the man who has dropped the ball in 4 out of the last 5 races ๐
At this point I already kown what Fred is going to say before he even says it ๐คฃ
๐จ | Fred Vasseur on #BahrainGP ๐ง๐ญ
โSepang is a circuit that represents a very different challenge compared with the tracks we have faced recently."
"The demands placed on both the cars and drivers are very high, and the changing weather conditions can play an important role throughout the weekend.โ
โAs we have seen in recent races, the field is very closely matched and competitiveness alone is not enough. It is essential to put every aspect of the weekend together. We need to remain focused and take every opportunity to achieve the best possible result.โ
But Max and Charles aren't struggling in the slightest bit against their teammates or the rest of the grid ๐
Both of them are where you expect them to be ๐ญ
It relatively simple to understand he has no political grip whatsoever ๐
FIA walked all over our winter developments and Fred basically said nothing,
There is no fight in his eyes, the fire required to win at any cost is not present ๐
You need to take it personally ๐ฅฒ
Iโd like to ask a question that Iโm genuinely very interested in: for those of you who want Fred to leave, why do you want that? And why start a new cycle when we already know how the previous TPs failed?
And what makes you think that we wonโt win with him?
๐ด Recent speculation has once again put Fred Vasseur at the very center of the discussion. However, according to what @Auto_Racer_it learned, the situation internally at Ferrari appears to be quite different from the picture being portrayed externally.
There continues to be a strong level of confidence in Vasseur at Maranello and, above all, there is no concrete search underway for his replacement. Any interest in Christian Horner is ruled out and, at present, there are no other candidates being considered for the role of team principal either.
The SF-27 will not be an evolution of the SF-26. The new Ferrari will feature an entirely new power unit and a different aerodynamic concept. It will not simply be an evolution of the 2026 car. It would therefore be possible to assess whether, by addressing the limitations that have emerged this season, the structure built over the past few years can finally aim for something more. In that case, it would probably make more sense to draw conclusions upon returning to Europe, or at least after the first significant races of 2027, when much more solid technical evidence will be available.
A victory in Malaysia would be exactly what is needed to bring the temperature back down, as happened in Barcelona. But the key point remains the same: as things stand, Ferrari is not working on a post-Vasseur scenario.
Not Horner. Not another candidate.
#F1
Why wouldn't they develop a strained relationship ๐
Fred lost all political play at the start of the season when FIA took a big shit on our design choices.
Under him the head of pu made a shit pu & then jumped ship leaving the team wondering what to do.
Also trackside is shit
๐จ | Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna is reportedly not in favour of Hornerโs arrival, while Piero Ferrari would support the move.
Meanwhile, Vigna and Vasseur have developed a poor relationship, adding another layer of complexity to the team principalโs future.
๐ฐ @Gazzetta_it
@MONDOFERRARI_ I don't understand this starting from scratch argument at all,
Ferrari already has a good technical/aero dep.
We need to fix track side operations & new people for the engine dep.
It's not a rebuilding exercise it's a strengthening act + a lot of political power grab
