Hanada Mei returns with new statement.
"In this situation, the root cause was my own behaviour and lack of awareness as an Idol. It was something serious enough that an immediate termination would not have been unreasonable. I would like to apologise again. I am truly sorry.
However, I can never forgive being made to shave my head as a sign of sincerity, only to later be told that no one had ever instructed me to do so. I feel deeply betrayed by that. No matter how many years it takes, I intend to keep fighting over this.
Some people have been saying that this isn't actually a shaved head but just a very short haircut, or that the length shows I wasn't serious enough. My hair has already grown since I was made to shave it, which is why it looks longer now. It was much shorter at the beginning.
Finally, to everyone who has offered me kind words and support despite everything, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm sorry that I can only express my gratitude here. Thank you so much."
