The report in @NewIndianXpress dated 25.05.2026 regarding the recent TNPSC notification for the recruitment of Junior Photographers reflects how governance reforms can create an impact far beyond elections.

As the report points out, it was the DMK Government led by Thiru. @mkstalin that, during Dr. @ptrmadurai’s tenure as Finance & Human Resources Management Minister, brought these recruitments under the ambit of TNPSC — replacing discretion and recommendation with a transparent, merit-based process open to all.

This reform was enabled through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (Additional Functions) Act, 2022, which was introduced in the Assembly on 07.01.2022 and received the assent of the Governor on 31.01.2022.

Real reform is not just about politics. It is about changing systems that outlast governments.

In a shocking display of arrogance and disregard for the people of Tamil Nadu, Modi Govt. Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a scathing attack on the state, labeling its citizens "𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱."

The people of Tamil Nadu are justifiably outraged by this grave insult, and Congress President Shri @kharge has demanded the Minister's resignation. This is not only a matter of personal apology but also a call for accountability.

@rajeshkmoorthy Sir majority people give idea about paying extra emi... But my doubt is paying sum lumsum amount in principal and reduce emi amount and loan tenure is correct.
