🌾 Government procured rice at ₹3,889.46 per quintal.

🏭 Then quietly handed over 6.35 million tonnes to private ethanol distilleries at ₹2,250–₹2,320 per quintal : a deliberate 40% damn discount.

📉 Total taxpayer loss: ₹10,101.29 CRORE.
(Procurement cost: ₹24,698.07 Cr vs sale revenue: ₹14,596.78 Cr)

Now ask yourself the questions that refuse to die:

* If there was truly excess rice, why was it not exported to build India’s foreign exchange reserves?

* Why was it not released into the open market so food prices could fall and food inflation could ease for the common citizen?

* Why are “We The People” forced to subsidise private ethanol distilleries : only to then pay higher fuel prices at the pump every single day?

The conflict is crystal clear: Shri Nitin Gadkari ji sir’s ministry has a decisive say in India’s ethanol policy.

This is an absolutely shameless systematic transfer of public money into private hands while the ordinary Indian pays twice once through taxes to procure rice and again at the fuel station for the Ethanol blended Petrol!!

I don't know about others but my yearly savings is way lesser than the tax I pay to the govt.

Govt is a major partner in my income. More than 70% of my income is taxed at 35% despite we have 6 slabs below 30% & the highest slab is 30%.

क्योंकि 440 वाले के बाप-दादा पढ़ाई कर चुके हैं, उसे पढ़कर क्या करना है? ब्राह्मणों का काम तो भीख माँगना है, भीख माँगे।

EWS आरक्षण चाहे किसी मुस्लिम को मिले या किसी ब्राह्मण या ठाकुर को, यह कैटेगरी ही गरीब लोगों के लिए है। लेकिन EWS वाला फॉर्म से लेकर कोर्स तक की फुल फीस देगा, जबकि SC/ST वाला, चाहे वह करोड़पति भी है, उसकी फुल फीस माफ।
यानी एक गरीब सवर्ण हिन्दू या मुसलमान से फीस लेकर, आप SC/ST के करोड़पति को पढ़ा रहे हैं मोदी जी..

ST list had 241 tribes, today it has 744

So where these castes are coming from?

If even after 70+ yrs, not a single caste has been uplifted via reservation, that itself shows "Reservation is a failed policy".

Gov is introducing fee on UPI payments above 2000. It is being said that the fee will be on merchants and not on consumers.

Below is an screenshot of a payment page of Flipkart. It levies payment handling fee on every order if you pay by credit card. Same is now going to happen with UPI.

This is how “the charges will be borne by the merchant” works; the merchant simply passes the charges on to the consumer along with the original cost.
