Not for families who already secured government jobs through reservation and continue to enjoy its benefits generation after generation.

🔥 1990: When students bu₹ned themselves because a PM sold their future for votes
VP Singh forced Mandal overnight. 27% extra quota. Total reservation near 50%. No debate. Just pure caste arithmetic to save his government.
Students hit the streets. Rajiv Goswami set himself on fire. Dozens more followed. Over 60 dead. Hundreds scarred.

Chants were simple and angry: —

Mandal Commission down down.
This wasn’t justice.

For many of us, this is about equality, fairness, and what we believe is in the best interest of our country and its people. Let’s continue raising our voices peacefully and persistently until the Government responds.

मध्यप्रदेश हाई कोर्ट में भाजपा सरकार बोल रही है कि अगर OBC 80% हैं तो OBC आरक्षण 80% होना चाहिए!

तो फिर किस मुंह से भाजपा राहुल गांधी को संविधान विरोधी बताती है??
जब ये खुद राहुल गांधी की "जितनी आबादी उतना हक़" वाली भाषा इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं, वो भी हाई कोर्ट में!

.@RHAreforms को ले कर तीन दिन से मुझे कई कॉल्स आ रहे हैं, की हम इस आर्मी से हैं, हम इनकी टीम से हैं, हम तैयार हैं, आपसे मिल कर प्लान बनाते हैं कि कब सड़कों पर उतरना है।

मैं स्पष्ट कर देना चाहता हूँ कि मेरा व्यक्तिगत मत सड़कों पर उतर कर आग लगाने का नहीं है। और आप आग लगाओगे नहीं तो सरकार सुनेगी ही नहीं, यह भी सत्य है। फिर भी, मैं पहले आरक्षण पर चर्चा चाहता हूँ, जो आरम्भ हो चुकी है, उसके बाद हम आगे का रोडमैप एक-दो दिन में बताएँगे।

एक ने फ़ोन करके मुझे उस लड़के को आगे करने को कहा जिसने पेज बनाया और जो फ़ोन 'मिलते हैं आपसे भैया' से आरम्भ हुआ, वह अंत में 'जब उसको सड़क पर आना ही नहीं था, तो पेज बनाया क्यों, पेज हमें दे दो, फलाना जी लीड करेंगे क्योंकि उन्होंने ५० इंटरव्यूज़ और पॉडकास्ट्स दे दिए हैं' पर जा कर मेरे काटने पर समाप्त हुआ।

मैं आरक्षण की समीक्षा, इसका समापन, इसके नाम पर हो रही राजनीति के लिए बात करना चाहता हूँ, और लंबे समय से कर रहा हूँ। मैं इस से इसलिए नहीं जुड़ा हूँ कि मुझे इसके नाम पर राजनीति करनी है, टिकट लेना है। मैं इसमें सच में सुधार चाहता हूँ।

जितने लोग जुड़ेंगे, और माँग करेंगे सुधार की संभावना बढ़ेगी, अन्यथा नई पार्टी आएगी, नए लोग आएँगे जो इस पर सकारात्मक भाव रखेंगे। या फिर, जो भी सत्ता में हैं, उनके विरोध में एलपीजी मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे। यही दो विकल्प हैं।

जो सड़कों पर उतरना चाहते हैं, निःसंदेह उतरें। मैं उन्हें रोक नहीं सकता। परंतु, जो लड़का इस से अलग रहना चाहता है, उसे आप जबरन इसमें घसीट नहीं सकते कि तुमने पेज बनाया अब तुम जंतर मंतर पर भूख हड़ताल करो।

मैं आदर्शवादी बातें नहीं करता क्योंकि समय आदर्श नहीं है। 7 महीने में मैंने देख लिया है कि किस आंदोलन पर सरकार क्या करती है।
