In the Vishnu Purana, sage Parasara describes Lord Narayana as the father of the entire universe and Goddess
Mahalakshmi as its compassionate mother. In a discourse,
Thirukkudandhai Dr. Venkatesh said Her boundless compassion manifests in eight distinct divine forms, collectively revered as Ashta Lakshmi. Each manifestation embodies a unique aspect of divine grace, bestowing spiritual
wisdom, prosperity, courage, well-being, and abundance
upon devotees. Sri Villur Nadadur Srinidhi Swami beautifully celebrates these eight manifestations in the sacred
composition Ashtalakshmi Sathakam, highlighting Jaganmatha Mahalakshmi’s innite compassion and benevolence. Adi Lakshmi: the primordial form of Mahalakshmi.
Known as Bhargavi, the daughter of sage Bhrigu, she performs “Purushakaram” and intercedes for devotees before Lord Narayana. Dhana Lakshmi: adorned in golden
garments and portrayed with six hands, she bestows material prosperity.
Dhanya Lakshmi, dressed in green with eight hands,
blesses devotees with fertile land, abundant harvest and
nourishment. Gaja Lakshmi, with four hands, is shown in
a coronation posture with elephants. She symbolises dignity, recognition, and authority. Santana Lakshmi, with
six hands and red garments, represents progeny and family well-being. Veera Lakshmi, with eight hands and red
garments, grants courage, resilience, and strength. Vijaya
Lakshmi, with eight hands and red garments, blesses
righteous endeavours with success and symbolises victory
over fear. Vidya Lakshmi, in half-white with four hands,
grants learning and spiritual wisdom.

India's education system doesn't just need better textbooks—it needs better classroom teaching.

While reading NCERTs, I noticed they promote discussion, curiosity, activities, and critical thinking. But in many classrooms, teaching remains lecture-based.

Suggestion to the Ministry of Education:

Record the best teachers teaching real students in interactive classrooms—from the first bench to the last. Show how they ask questions, engage every child, use local examples, and make learning enjoyable.

Create a National Model Teaching Library and use these videos for teacher training through DIKSHA, SCERTs, and DIETs.

Also introduce Best Teacher Awards at the village, block, district, state, and national levels, based on classroom interaction, innovation, inclusiveness, and student engagement—not only exam results. Share every award-winning teacher's classroom videos so others can learn from the best.

Great teaching should not remain confined to one classroom. It should become India's model for every classroom.
