“The idea that elections are but the continuation of a conversation between ‘we the people’ and a representative government on, for instance, why power should be handled with care, exercised with caution, limited by institutional checks and balances, and above all by popular opinion, is completely alien to this government. सारा फोकस जंतर मंतर पर है,लेकिन राहुल गाँधी बहुत शांति से जो काम कर रहे हैं, वह भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है।
वे सीधे उन छात्रों से रूबरू हो रहे हैैं जो इस सरकार की नाकामियों की सज़ा भुगत रहे हैं और नाराज़ भी हैं मगर वे समझ नहीं पा रहे कि किया क्या जाए।

जब जौहर युनिवर्सिटी का निर्माण हो रहा था तब वो क्षेत्र रामपुर डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी के दायरे में नहीं आता था, बाद में प्राधिकरण ने अपना दायरा बड़ा कर लिया और अब रामपुर DM कह रहे हैं कि जौहर युनिवर्सिटी का नक्शा नहीं पास है तो गिराने का आदेश पारित कर दिया गया है।

वैसे नक्शा तो इस देश की किसी युनिवर्सिटी का पास नहीं है तो क्या सारे विश्वविद्यालयों पर बुलडोज़र चला दोगे ??

नक्शा तो इस देश के ज्यादातर DM ऑफिस का भी नहीं पास होगा तो क्या सब को ज़मींदोज़ कर दोगे ?

एैसे बेतुके और तानाशाही वाले आदेश पारित करते हुए इन अधिकारियों को सोचना चाहिये कि ये भी किसी एैसी ही युनिवर्सिटी से पढ़कर आये होंगे जहॉं का नक्शा नहीं पास होगा।

शिक्षा के इतने बड़े संस्थान को बचाने के लिये सभ्य समाज को आगे आना होगा वरना ये ज़ालिम सरकारें कुछ भी महफ़ूज़ नहीं रहने देंगी।
