Today in Parliament, raised the crucial demand for the satellite center of the National Centre for Coastal Research(NCCR) in Odisha, considering India's expansive coastline vulnerable to increasing prevalence of coastal disasters, and 28% of Odisha's coastline eroded.

Urged the government to utilize and deploy Odisha's expertise in managing coastal disasters evident by the state's commitment to 'zero human casualties' in averting loss of lives during super cyclones Fani and Phailin.

Yesterday in Parliament, I addressed the Interim #Budget FY-2024-25, emphasizing our nation's commitment to inclusive growth. I also raised concerns about the 7% reduction in education funding and low defense spending as a percentage of GDP.
