The following were totally new to me at 25: Hindi, Marathi, Biology, Thyroid, computers, Mumbai, startup, entrepreneurship, company law, VC, PE, IPO.
But all without a mentor, how did I learn them?👇🏻
Focus, start from zero, be disciplined, learn, grow and enjoy!
#Consistency is key for #leadership. #Focus
Achieve consistency in some task before mastering it in the market like start walking for one hour or do mediation for 30 min every day without any break for at least 3 months
Consistency is the key of becoming outlier in any field 👍
Pause.
Staying calm isn't just an option. it's your superpower.
Why? Because crap happens.
Stupid bosses, flat tires, long traffic, or worse.
In those moments your calm mind is your secret weapon.
It's the general that leads you through battle, the anchor that holds you steady.
Your path to anything you desire starts with mastering your own reaction.
Ever noticed how negative thoughts pop up too easily?
It's like the brain is wired to think negatively.
Just a hint of traffic and your brain starts thinking 'I am going to miss my flight.'
But have you ever thought why?
Why does the mind go towards the gloom, even when the day is bright?
Because your brain loves you.
It's just getting you prepped up for the worst-case scenario. To shield you.
What? Yes
Come with me on a ride, let's go way back in time.
Picture yourself as an early human, where danger lurked at every nook and cranny.
You had to look at everything from a lens of skepticism.
Because a chirpy attitude towards a mushroom could mean bye-bye forever.
So, evolution sculpted your brain to lean towards the negative to map out a game plan for the worst-case scenario.
Your brain's just got your back.
And this is the foundation of the negativity bias.
"Negativity bias is our tendency to give more weight or attention to negative information, experiences, or emotions over positive ones."
This negativity bias is what makes you:
‣ Overthink the bad stuff:
A single negative comment can overshadow a ton of compliments.
‣ Hold onto awkward moments:
Remembering that embarrassing moment more than the applause.
‣ Feel the loss more than the gain:
Losing $20 hurts more than finding $20 feels good.
‣ Play it safe to avoid loss:
Hesitating to try that new diner because of one bad review, even though there are many good ones.
‣ Planning for the Worst:
Already figuring out what to do if you bomb the interview.
In short, all bad things.
I am don't have to tell you why is it important to think beyond this bias.
You already know this? But just to seal the deal remember that-- the more you practice negative thinking the more you are bound to think negative and the more the negative events are going to take place in your life.
Bad stuff is over now.
3 simple things you can do to get ahead of negative thinking.
1. Positive repetitio :
Wait. Don't whine yet.
I had an exam last year, it was challenging and every time I messed up a practice question. My mind went I am going to fail this.
So I pasted a note in front of me in bold letters that i am going to pass this exam.
Now every time I thought negatively I read that note. Until I started thinking more about how I am going to pass the exam instead of flunking it.
So, whenever you think negatively about something. You have to deliberately remind yourself of the positive opposite. ok?
2. Don't speak:
Fine, I get it you cannot stop your negative thoughts. But you have full control over what you speak.
Don't you?
Don't say anything negative. Take it as a challenge and try how long can you do it.
3. Meditate: (how can I end my post without mentioning meditation)
Meditating is proven to help reduce negative thinking
Even if you cannot do anything else. Take some time every day to sit with yourself in silence and meditate
Meditation creates new neural pathways in your brain which help you maintain a more positive outlook
Before you think it's not easy.
Well, living with a negative outlook, in a constant state of fear and anxiety isn't easy either,
So you decide.
The key takeaway: Every time you think negatively remind yourself your brain is just trying to shield you, help you prepare for the worst-case scenario. All you have to do is provide it with positive information. ok?
Let me know in the comments if you have noticed this negativity bias.
We all can always be better than what we are so don't worry about not being good enough. If you never try you'll never know. Affirm to yourself daily that you can do it and don't stop until it's done.

When your team is putting more efforts than you
You have best team with you
Teamwork is very powerful
A company of like minded people is always better than a very talented individual
Trading is about
Technical analysis
And psychology
People can teach you technical analysis but they can never teach you about you
Your psychology is different from my psychology so only you know about yourself and only you can master your psychology
And that part is 90%
So your journey is 90% about yourself
No teacher can make you a trader except you
They can guide you but ultimately you can understand yourself
Give time to understand yourself and it takes very long time for self realisation
Worry only comes when you allow your awareness to go to the future and create situations in your mind that have not happened. Hold awareness on what you are doing.
