@TheOneWrongTool@stupidcatcher@OrderAutist@DarkOddCon The separate crime was an illegal campaign contribution in the form of the hush money. You can argue that they selectively went after Trump for this, but they did actually have a separate crime.
@Brents_Journal@Pathto269@ShitpostGate “…we should not trouble those gentiles who are turning to God, but we should write to them to abstain only from things polluted by idols and from sexual immorality and from whatever has been strangled and from blood.”
Acts 15:19-20 NRSVUE. Read the Bible before speaking about it
@SurfTheSpect2@Pontifl3x@KatieNick14@shellenberger Well that doesn’t really prove your points for example. If I was talking to a roommate who left dishes in the sink and I said “The only dishes I see in the sink are yours” it’s clear that yours is possessing the the dishes mentioned earlier.
@romneynation I think you are misinterpreting what I’m saying. One cannot reclaim the time they spent in prison. But, if one is exonerated they can reclaim freedom that they wouldn’t have had access to if they had remained in prison. Execution obliterates not present freedom future freedom.
@romneynation Life and liberty are fundamentally different, without life liberty cannot exist. Someone cannot regain time spent imprisoned, but they can be released and live free. Taking a life represents completely and eternally obliterating someone’s present and future freedom.
@romneynation I agree, but executing someone makes it impossible for someone wrongfully convicted to regain their liberty in the future. You can free a wrongfully imprisoned person to allow them to reclaim some part their stolen future. You can’t unexecute a wrongfully killed person.
@MariahMcNabb@ChrisWozney@hodgetwins You say he’s the one who doesn’t trust the government, but you are the one defending the government’s right to overrule doctors and the child’s mother.
@NotEvolution1 This is describing rabbits eating their own feces. Pigs occasionally do this as well to extract more nutrients from their food. By your definition pigs also “chew the cud” and should be considered clean as they have cloven hooves. The inconsistency remains.
