Honestly, I've been thinking about this for a little while now (as things started to get bad for him).

He's clearly VERY angry and bitter. He's still an alcoholic. He has PTSD. His life is spiraling. And he has a big cache of guns (including AR-15s).

I'm very scared this is going to end very badly.
