Good thread on a new broadcast alert that some of you may see this summer for severe thunderstorms.

Starting June 1st ECCC will be able to trigger a new higher end severe thunderstorm warning.

Criteria:
-Observed hail size* ≥ 7cm (baseball)

and/or

-Wind speed ≥ 130 km/h
