Did you know Jacob was buried with Leah, not Rachel? Not the woman he loved. Not the one he cried for. Not the one he labored fourteen years to have. Leah. In Genesis 49:29–31, when Jacob was about to die, he gave a clear instruction: “Bury me… in the cave… where Abraham and Sarah are… Isaac and Rebekah… and there I buried Leah.” Pause. Rachel was his passion. Leah was his alignment. Rachel was the love story. Leah was the covenant story. Rachel had his emotions.
Leah carried the promise. Rachel was buried on the roadside (Genesis 35:19). Leah was laid in the ancestral grave of covenant the lineage of God’s dealings. And here is the mystery: Leah was the rejected one. The one Jacob didn’t choose. The one he endured, not desired. But heaven chose her. From Leah came Judah. From Judah came Jesus Christ. Let that settle in your spirit The woman rejected by a man became central to God’s redemptive plan. This is where many people miss it:
 We are all trying to be “Rachel”seen, desired, celebrated. But God builds legacy through “Leah seasons”And that is the gospel pattern: God does not build His purposes on human preference. He builds on grace and election. So if you feel overlooked… if you feel like second choice…

if life has not chosen you first— hear this clearly: God’s choice overrides man’s rejection... if you’re in your Leah season you are being written into something bigger.

@AntonioTweets2 I assume this is In reference to strychnine for killing gophers that destroy crop land? As farmers and ranchers we would like access to this pesticide. However the new rules for strychnine application are so ridiculous most guys won’t bother.

We received the paperwork from Alto High-Speed Rail regarding our dairy farm today, and with it came a profound sense of grief. What is being presented as progress carries devastating consequences for the people and places rooted in this land, farms, family homes, wildlife habitats, small businesses, churches, and even cemeteries stand in the path of irreversible change.

For many of us in Eastern Ontario, this is far more than an infrastructure project. It is the beginning of a deep psychological and emotional loss.

This project is expected to cost Canadians billions of dollars amounting to roughly $10,000 per Canadian. Massive 16 foot barriers and fencing will divide communities, block side roads and destroy the countryside that generations of families have called home.

Current projections suggest it may not be fully paid off until 2093 leaving future generations responsible for the cost.

In our case, the proposed route leaves us without enough productive land to properly feed our cows and sustain our dairy operation. 500 farms will be removed, the impact on farming families will be severe and long-lasting.

All Canadians deserve to be fully informed about what this project truly means not just in terms of transportation, but in terms of the human cost, these are not empty fields on a map. They are livelihoods, ecosystems, histories, and communities that cannot be replaced once they are gone.

Yesterday I was talking to someone I know.

This person is a Christian, but he doesn't always act, speak or think like one.

Some days, he is completely in-line with God's path, and some days, his life is a struggle that gets the best of him.

As our eyes met, I really wanted to say something about it, but I decided to let the Lord speak to his heart, knowing nothing that I say will have the same impact as the Father's words.

So I prayed with him, and after some time had passed, I nodded to him, and walked away from the mirror.

I try everyday, and I fail everyday.

I am not perfect, I am a work in progress, and I'm thankful for God’s grace and His promises to His believers!

I am that someone I know.
