BudgIT on your airwaves!🔊
Today, we are going to be live on @GTV_Ghana 's #WomensVoice segment to unpack the nexus between Ghana's tax system and the women farmers' ecosystem.
Our Country Manager @MzMoffatt joins a panel of experts from @ActionAidGhana@JohnNkaw, and the Informal Hawkers and Vendors Association of Ghana and the incredible @PassieAdadevoh.
Tune in at 4pm today and let's chat!

Every campus has that group of students who are pushers, trailblazers, go-getters and activists in the making.
They organise.
They ask questions.
They get involved.
We're excited that for #UNIMAC, they now have a home in our newest Youth Participatory Forum Chapter on campus. With a new wing, new student leaders, and dozens of new members on board, we're growing a community that's choosing action over apathy.
Here are a few moments from the day.

We’re active… like #MTN🤣⚡️
Picture this equation:
Tracka + fine boys and girls + civic education + energy + dedication + empowerment = THIS!⏬⏬
From lecture halls to hostels, canteens to walkways, we turned the whole campus into one giant conversation about accountability, public projects, and why all of this actually affects student life more than we think.
People stopped to ask questions, some signed up immediately, and some just stood there like “ah so this is how these things work?” - you could literally see the mindset shift happening in real time!😎
That’s citizenship - it's not something you grow into after school - it’s happening now; in the questions you ask, in what you choose to pay attention to, and in what you refuse to normalise.
We also welcomed a new UNIMAC Chapter of our Youth Participatory Forum (YPF) - students stepping into empowering conversations and platforms.
Here's a highlight peek from the day.

Y’aka charge aa, yɛnko!🇬🇭🗣️
From Accra to Tamale, Kumasi to Keta, the whole country is still buzzing. Ghana showed up. Panama felt it. The whole wiase is buzzing.⚡️
And if @KinaataGh taught us anything with Black Stars, it's this: when the stakes are high, everybody suddenly pays attention. Everybody wants to know the game plan. Everybody has opinions. Everybody becomes #PepGuardiola.🤣
Funny enough, that's exactly how we should treat Ghana's national budget.
Because the budget is the country's game plan;
📍Who gets funded.
📍What gets prioritised.
📍Where the money goes.
And ultimately, whether we win or lose on the things that matter every day.
So while we're still celebrating the victory, here's a quick challenge: do you know Ghana's game plan for 2026?
And @GhanaBlackstars you ATE THAT!🔥🔥🎉

On today’s episode of Did You Know? 👀
Here’s Ghana’s macro story - straight from the SONA.
Growth is picking up, inflation is easing, reserves are improving. It’s a steady picture… and an important one.
But beyond the headlines, these numbers are signals - of direction, of discipline, of where the economy could be heading.
So, what do they really tell us❓
Let's take a closer look and connect the dots.

Parliament isn’t just a building - it’s where laws, budgets, and decisions that affect your daily life come to life.
It’s been doing its thing for decades, but here’s the catch: knowing how it works gives YOU the power to engage, question, and hold leaders accountable.✍️
Tap through, get clued in, and see why understanding Parliament changes the game for every citizen.

69 years of independence, 69 years of responsibility!🎉
Every year, our freedom reminds us not just of what we’ve achieved, but of what we must continue to do - strengthen transparency, demand accountability, and champion active citizenship for a stronger, brighter Ghana.🤝

@BudgITgh The citizens are generally frustrated with the government and how they are being governed. It is not a dissatisfaction with democracy as military rule erodes sovereignty and liberties of citizens. The coups are mostly as a result of frustration with government.
Looking back, 2025 showed up and showed out!🔥
A year of asking the tough questions, showing up where it mattered, and pushing harder for smarter, fairer use of public funds.💯
This progress was collective. To our partners, donors, media allies, reform champions, and every citizen who engaged, tracked, and amplified the work, thank you!🤝
2026? We’re taking this momentum even further.
Let’s do this!⚡️
