Today marks the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction!
Promoting the global culture of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) comes with knowing what is being done to minimise the disaster risk and losses in line with the Sendai Framework for DRR 2015-2030.
Children handed over 7-point memorandum to Minister of State for Social Development, Tek Bahadur Raika during a Child-led Provincial Consultation held this week in Dhangadhi, Kailali. 27 children from eight districts of Sudurpashchim Province participated in the event.
To control the spread of Dengue infection, medicated mosquito nets are being distributed in Sarlahi & Mahottari. Registered children under WVI Nepal’s sponsorship programme & their families are oriented about the disease & provided with the mosquito nets to protect themselves.
