🇵🇹 Portugal vs Netherlands 2012: every player had one job, get the ball to Ronaldo. It was like the ball had his name on it.
So sad that in 2026, Portugal can't find one player who can pass forward twice in a row without calling a meeting about it.

Barely 24 hours after the engagement with Dangote Group on the proposed industrial and free trade zone in Olokola, another major investment conversation is unfolding in Ondo State. Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa today reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting the reactivation of an oil field that has remained dormant since 1998, during a meeting with executives of Sahara Energy Group in Akure. The governor emphasized that reviving the asset would boost Ondo State’s contribution to Nigeria’s oil production target of 2 million barrels per day, strengthen its position among oil-producing states, and create new economic opportunities. He also highlighted the need to improve infrastructure, modernize equipment, reduce leakages, and deploy digital systems to enhance efficiency and transparency. By assuring investors of a peaceful and business-friendly environment, alongside ongoing dredging projects and plans to improve access to oil-producing communities, the administration continues to signal that Ondo is open for business. Following yesterday’s Dangote engagement and today’s discussions with Sahara Energy, the signs are increasingly clear: Ondo State is positioning itself as a major destination for industrial and energy investments. Governor Aiyedatiwa deserves commendation for the deliberate efforts to attract strategic investments that can drive growth, create jobs, and expand economic opportunities for the people of Ondo State. The people of Ondo should expect more. The state appears to be entering a new phase of economic transformation and industrial development.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reiterated Ondo State’s commitment to supporting the reactivation of a dormant oil field that has remained inactive since 1998, during a meeting with executives of Sahara Energy Group in Akure.
The governor emphasized that reviving the asset would boost Ondo’s contribution to Nigeria’s oil production target of 2 million barrels per day and improve the state’s standing among oil-producing states. He stressed the need to address infrastructure deficiencies, curb leakages, modernize equipment, and adopt digital systems to enhance efficiency and transparency in production.
Aiyedatiwa assured investors of a peaceful and business-friendly environment, highlighting ongoing dredging projects and planned interventions to improve access to oil-producing communities and production sites.
Speaking on behalf of Sahara Energy, Kola Adesina described the oil field as a stranded asset with significant untapped potential. He disclosed that the company is carrying out technical assessments and integrity tests to determine the requirements for full reactivation.
Both parties agreed that increased investment, technological innovation, and strong collaboration between government and operators are essential to unlocking the asset’s value, increasing national oil output, and delivering benefits to host communities.
Made a few calls and apparently Buhari had moved Prisons from the exclusive legislative list to the concurrent list meaning state governments can now establish their own Prisons.
Anambra, Abia, Edo, Ebonyi and Lagos are the only ones who seem to have either established or working on establishing state prisons.
Soludo and Otti have even signed theirs into law, they just need to build.
Lagos state’s bill is at Committee level after the public hearing Last year August.
As we await State Police, tell your governor and his parliament to build State Prisons. ✌🏾
