One thing about Rohit u have to accept is he has evolved greatly as a batter post Covid. He has had too many knocks where the wkt and conditions were challenging. Chepauk 100, Ahmedabad 50, Lords 80, Oval & Nagpur 100s. Then the 80 odd at Lucknow in WC, or how he took on Henry in Dharmashala under haze, t20 wc semi 50, Yesterday when the ball was nipping around a lot, or the way he changed his game in PP since the Australia series before 2023 WC, then the Sri Lanka Odi series post t20 wc. Too many games to suggest he has constantly adjusted to the conditions and he'll be turning 40 next summer so really worth appreciating that he is still motivated.

Dear @ImRo45,

As far as I've known you, every time you've been criticised, you've answered with your performances. We need that same Rohit once again at Lord's. Don't disappoint. Your 2027 World Cup dream is at stake, and one big knock is all it takes to silence every critic.

You once said "Those three pillars with the globe in the middle...every cricketer dreams of lifting that trophy."
What happened to that dream? Remember those words. Remember who you are.

You were once labelled a home-track bully, but you answered by becoming the player with the most ODI centuries in SENA.

You were mocked for failing in big tournaments, but you replied with back to back 500+ run World Cup campaigns.

You were criticised for not scoring overseas Test centuries, but you silenced everyone with a match-winning hundred at The Oval.

You were told you were only good enough to captain in the IPL, but you responded by leading India to back to back ICC titles without losing a single match.

You were trolled over your fitness, yet became the oldest player to win Player of the Series.

You were labelled a choker in ICC knockouts, but today no Indian has won more Player of the Match awards in ICC knockout matches than you.

You were criticised for your T20 World Cup performances, then became India's highest run-scorer and lifted the trophy.

You were questioned about your ICC finals record, then answered by winning the Player of the Match award in an ICC final.

You were written off in the ICC rankings, but fought your way back to become the World No. 1 ODI batter at the age of 38.

Now they're saying you don't deserve a place in India's 2027 World Cup squad. Reply the way you always have, with your bat. One unforgettable knock at Lord's. Don't let the dream of lifting those three pillars with the globe in the middle end like this.

Don't disappoint, We'll always be with you🤞🇮🇳

Rohit Sharma took this bowling attack to Qualifier 2 and had Tim David held onto Gill's catch it would have been an MI vs CSK final in which Rohit has a 3-0 record against Dhoni.

I was not against transition and I liked the Hardik trade as a player, but Hardik was never the right successor as captain.

Sigh. They broke my beautiful franchise with one move. They didn't trust Rohit as captain for 2 more seasons and neither did they let Rohit go to retain Ishan Kishan.

Rohit on a wheelchair would still be a better captain than anyone MI have available at the moment.

Sigh..they broke my beautiful franchise with one move.

ACCIDENTAL BUT A GREAT MEETING❤️😎😍🔥
Yesterday morning at shooting there were lots of vanity vans parked at the location. Somehow by mistake I was ushered into a wrong van. And who do I see? The GREATEST #RohitSharma! My favourite cricketer and his beautiful and hugely supportive wife #Ritika. I love Rohit! Of course for his brilliance as an amazing player. But I equally love the person in him. We have a habit of giving titles to our heroes (in films and sports) and rightfully so. They deserve it. But having watched Rohit, on and off field I can easily say that he is so so REAL! No pretence! No hunger for particular titles! I like his calmness. He laughs easily! Doesnt make an effort to make a myth about himself! Doesn’t change his persona in front of paps. Stays HIMSELF!! And that is the Greatest Quality of Cool Dude! Thank you my friend and Hero Rohit for your warmth and appreciation! May God give you both long and healthy life. Lots of love and prayers! Jai Ho!! 😍❤️👏 @ImRo45
