A case of brutal corporal punishment has come to light at PM Shri Rajkiya Inter College, where a teacher allegedly slapped and punched a 13-year-old student 17 times on his face within 39 seconds.

The entire incident was captured on the classroom CCTV camera. The traumatized student informed his father about the incident upon returning home.

Ramesh, a resident of Makdumpur Colony, stated that the teacher entered the classroom around 12 pm on Thursday and began assaulting his son without any apparent reason.

The teacher slapped the student on his cheeks and punched him on the mouth. When the student tried to protect himself by lowering his head, the teacher became more aggressive.

In the video, the teacher is seen questioning the student: "What is this you've written? Tell me? I'll expel you from college. What are you studying? What have you been doing all these days?" He then proceeded to repeatedly slap him.

The student told his father that the teacher had been harassing and scolding him without reason for some time.

The student is reportedly in a state of depression and has sustained internal injuries following the assault.

The family approached the college and lodged a complaint with Principal Amit Kumar, after which they filed a formal complaint at the Hastinapur police station.

Principal Amit Kumar stated that a complaint has been received and the matter is under investigation.

Appropriate action will be taken after the inquiry.

CO Mawana Pankaj Lavania said that the case is being investigated based on the complaint.

The video of the assault is going viral on social media.
