This Independence Day, we launch this campaign with an appeal to the parents and all concerned citizens to go to their nearby government school, especially in villages, and conduct a social audit. We will give you a checklist, and you record what you find.

We also appeal to all the Sarpanch to pay heed to this legitimate demand and transform their local govt schools. At the end, we promote the best school transformation and its Sarpanch on our handles!

When Will Sanjiv Bhatt Get Justice?

This is one of the saddest chapters of our history. An honest, brave and dedicated IPS officer, Sanjiv Bhatt, has been in jail for more than nine years.

He became a symbol of courage because he stood by his principles and spoke against injustice. Many IPS officers have come and gone, but Sanjiv Bhatt is still remembered for his courage and his fight for truth.

Whether one agrees with him or not, every person deserves a fair and just legal process. His case should not be forgotten.

It is time for justice-loving people and the Gen Z generation to raise this issue, ask questions and demand justice through peaceful and democratic means.

We salute Sanjiv Bhatt for his courage and pray for his safety, justice and early release.

This is an extremely concerning practice in Parliament that has somehow been normalised!

How can legislation of such institutional importance be passed in barely 2 to 3 minutes? If Parliament will not debate how good or bad a Bill is, scrutinise its safeguards, question its consequences, and demand answers from the government that is making it, then what exactly is Parliament for ? This National Tribunals Commission will have a role in appointments to important tribunals dealing with matters ranging from taxation, protecting honest officers, to the environment. Yet there was NO parliamentary discussion on the architecture being created, the people who will exercise these powers, or the safeguards necessary to protect the integrity and independence of the process. And that’s exactly the problem. Tomorrow, when appointments made through this system come under scrutiny, a question mark will inevitably hang over this selection commission itself because Parliament did not scrutinise the system that it produced.

This is not just about this one Bill. This is about the frightening normalisation of legislation without deliberation!

And then we wonder why our institutions fail us. Why paper leaks remain unresolved, why environmental crises worsen, why pollution becomes an everyday catastrophe, and why accountability disappears.

People harping on about “good governance” must know that it does not begin after a law is passed but begins with HOW that law is made!

हम विधानसभा में 22,000 करोड़ के कथित चावल घोटाले का हिसाब मांग रहे हैं।
जनता के पैसों का जवाब मांग रहे हैं।

लेकिन सवालों का जवाब देने के बजाय विपक्ष के विधायकों को मार्शल बुलाकर बाहर फेंकने की भाषा इस्तेमाल की जा रही है।

सवालों से इतना डर क्यों?
