Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

That is the reality a woman in Azamgarh is reportedly facing after her husband, who was in Saudi Arabia, allegedly divorced her over the phone.

While the 2019 law made instant Triple Talaq illegal and void, cases like this raise difficult questions about how much protection women actually receive when such situations occur in real life.

Every woman deserves security, dignity, and the right to live without fear of being abandoned. Laws are important, but their impact is measured by how effectively they protect people on the ground.

40-year-old female journalist & YouTuber Sarita Patel (also known as Sarita Singh), who was reportedly working on a STORY AGAINST BJP leaders, went missing on 30 APRIL and was later found in critical condition near a culvert in Rajgarh area.

Reports claim her hands, legs & mouth were tied, and assailants poured PETROL on her in an attempt to BURN her alive before abandoning her.

Local residents returning from a wedding spotted her and alerted police.

She is currently undergoing treatment in hospital.
