Dean Madan Pillutla and I had a very warm meeting with Shri Vineet Joshi Vineet Joshi, IAS, Secretary - Higher Education, @EduMinOfIndia. We used the opportunity to provide him with an update about @ISBedu, including recent FT Rankings, the launch of PGP YL, quality research, curriculum revision, and more.
During our meeting, one of the joint secretaries came in. When introduced, she remarked how the Hon'ble Education Minister, at a recent meeting in the ministry, praised the ISB campus and quoted us as an example of quality. Such endorsements from the minister strengthen our commitment to continue on the path of excellence and to do our part in helping realise the goals of the National Education Policy to transform the education system in India.
Watch this insightful conversation between ISB Dean Madan Pillutla and Shri @dpradhanbjp, Honourable Minister for Education, Government of India, where they discuss the transformative role of policy, academia, and industry in shaping India's future.
They discuss key aspects of education in India, particularly the National Education Policy (NEP), and explore the role ISB can play, through its research, in contributing to the vision of the government.
Minister Pradhan also discusses the crucial role business schools like ISB must play in creating the structured approach needed for India to become a developed economy by 2047, calling for more "ISB-led processes" to emerge.
This conversation was recorded during Shri Dharmendra Pradhan's visit at the ISB Insights Forum 2024, the school's annual research showcase.
