Nowadays ppl looking for natural alternatives PVP, VP/VA copolymer bc over time, VP/VA leaves a persistent plastic residue that requires harsh, clarifying sulfates to remove, which strips curly hair of its natural oils. Actually, it's a bit challenging to achieve the same texture using naturally derived ingredients. These are the results of using plant-based polysaccharides and bioadhesive film ingredients to replace synthetic polymers (like PVP or VP/VA copolymers). The ingredients include agave inulin and upcycled molasses fermentation. Mixed with flaxseed and chia seed mucilage/polysaccharides.
