My statement for May 18th, Tamil Genocide Remembrance Day.
We remember the tens of thousands of Tamils massacred in Mullivaikkal. Our struggle for justice honours the memories of the victims.
Today we renew our calls for an end to silence and impunity.
The “Vaddukoddai Resolution 50 ( Golden Jubilee) Inaugural Event,” organized to mark the 50th anniversary of the historic Vaddukoddai Resolution, was held this evening near Meikandan Maha Vidyalayam, Pannagam, Vaddukoddai in Jaffna.
The event was organized in remembrance of the historic Vaddukoddai Resolution adopted on May 14, 1976. As part of the programme, a ceremonial flame was lit and the 50th anniversary of the Vaddukoddai Resolution was commemorated by the “Vaddukoddai 50 Uprising Conference” organizing committee.

Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.

@SteeleThoughts True, and because their mental state is so affected by the over digitalized world, those bad days are happening more frequently! It’s a real challenge for teachers to provide that calm environment while also trying to teach.
Welcome to May! Let's be grateful for this new day and new month. It's a beautiful time of year. So let's live our life beautifully as well.
Let's bloom...indeed!
