Pleased to report that Windows Server 2025 works fine as a VDA for @citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. It doesn't need a (v)TPM and nor does it require a particular recent delivery controller (I'm using 2203 LTSR here). #WindowsServer2025

Note that since 2nd Oct @xenserver 8 trial edition times out after 90 days. As the premium edition cannot be purchased (except as part of a subscription with virtual desktops), it is no longer suitable for use as a general hypervisor. Go @xcpng !

It's offical; only a couple of months after the long-awaited @XenServer 8 was released, @cloudsoftware has decided to withdraw it from sale as a general-purpose hypervisor as of June 3rd. A crazy move making their Consulting Partner blogs look rather weak. @xcpng anyone?
