@IamVeeraa_ just received a private payment through gloam.

the sender shared a claim link with her. instead of sending money to a public wallet address, vera can claim the payment privately.

𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭.

she opens the claim link and connects her wallet, she can also paste the link into the required field on @gloamtrade.

once she claims it, the payment moves into her private balance.

vera can now see the amount she received, but the public blockchain does not show who sent it, how much arrived, or who claimed it.

moving her money out of @gloamtrade is just as simple, she has two options.

⪼ 𝐧𝐨𝐰: this is for when she wants the money out in one go. she chooses the amount, cashes out, and the funds arrive in her wallet.

⪼ 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲: this is for when she wants to make the withdrawal harder to link to her private balance.

instead of one withdrawal, gloam splits it into three parts, spread over about six hours.

this makes it harder for someone watching the public chain to connect the withdrawal back to the original deposit.

vera can move her money when she needs it, or take a little more care with how it appears on the public record, without worrying about people watching her payroll.

and this isn’t limited to individuals.

the same process can be used by businesses and institutions that need to make private payments while keeping their funds under their own control.
