people talk about not giving up on friendships. i agree.
but i also think we should normalize recognizing when a friendship is being held together by history alone.
if your values, character, and priorities no longer meet in the same place, it’s okay to let go with gratitude instead of resentment.
It’s insane how much that barbaric act contributes to all these flooding and the people perpetrating the act can see it and won’t stop moving mad.
It’s infuriating!
My unpopular opinion is that anyone caught dumping refuse in wrong places should be punished with community service(sanitation work) for a year. No bail.
Failure to comply should be punished with jail time for like a week and they return to the community service.
Now that y’all can see my tweets, please if you’re (or you know someone who is) moving out of a mini flat around Bariga, Yaba, Shomolu or environs please dm me or comment, anyone. 😭🥹🤲🏾
The Estate is using their payloader and pickup truck help workers and other people coming and going out of the Estate through the water. There are a lot of expatriate in the Estate who can't go out with their cars. Only those with pickup truck can go easily.
Just a little reintroduction. 🌚🌸
My name is Damilola Omoniyi, but most people know me as Dammypep.
I’m a storyteller who loves writing love stories that will make you fall in love with love, smile, kick your legs in the air, and sometimes cry. I’ve been sharing my stories on this little corner of the internet for quite some time now, and I’m grateful you’re here.
I’m also a mom to an amazing boy, Oluwaferanmi, and happily married to Shola Omoniyi. 🤭❤️
Recently, I fulfilled one of my biggest dreams. I wrote my first book, One Poison at a Time.
It’s a collection of stories about love, heartbreak, friendship, healing, and the quiet choices that change our lives. If you’re looking for a book that will make you smile, laugh, reflect, and maybe shed a few tears, OPAT is for you.
It’s currently available in hard copy ( Kindly click the link in my bio to get your copy) and on Amazon.🌸🫶🏾
Whether you’ve been here for years or you’re just finding me today, welcome to my little corner. I hope you stay for the stories. 🤍
I think we never actually arrive, we are always in pursuit of sth, and the happiest people tend to be the ones in pursuit of their best self.
The journey is the film👌🏾✨
