If a/an RECRUITER/HR ask you these questions in an INTERVIEW, what should be your ANSWERS?
1. WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?
• First, EMPHASIZE on WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE for CLARITY. Show them you know the role/business and its CHALLENGES.
• Secondly, CORRELATE how your EXPERIENCE would address those CHALLENGES (in the job).
• Then after, chip in 1 or 2 questions back to the RECRUITER/HR; "What do you think about my point?" "Would you like to say something else?"
2. TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF?
• First, tell them who you are (Please DON'T mention your name again).
• Then, your outstanding REEL (experiences).
• Why you are there. Tell them.
Example: "With my xyz (cert), I have been consulting for HealthTech companies for the past xyz years now and blablablah WHO YOU ARE); I've been consistent always sourced 'cos, I've developed xyz for ABC companies & pivoted them to market blablablah (YOUR REEL/OUTSTANDING EXP. - brag about what you've done). What you're building now in your company about telemedicine correlates with my passion & expertise; it'd be a way for me grow further here (WHY YOU'RE THERE).
PS: DON'T FORGET TO ALWAYS BEEN TELLING STORIES; IN CORRELATION WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES. If you don't have any experience, then use a school project you worked on.
