Watching myself work hard for years & finally wear the NYSC colors is always a beautiful thing. 🇳🇬💚
Congratulations to myself. The journey from FUTA Stress, and countless sacrifices has brought me here. Now it's time for a new adventure, new experiences, & new opportunities.
My friend called me late one night last week, his voice breaking like he was fighting back tears. I decided to listened because I could tell this one had been eating him up for months. So this guy, let's call him kayode, met this girl during NYSC in Abuja...
I just need a good phone (even a fairly used one with a strong camera) so I can post consistently, serve my clients well and support myself and my siblings. A closed mouth is truly a closed destiny, and that's why I'm believing God for a helper today. If any angel can assist or knows someone who can, please reach out. I'll be so grateful and keep you in my prayers always.... Thank you family
My friend had this wild experience last year. He was in his final year, living in a school hostel in UI. Just one Friday night. His roommateshad gone out, so the place felt completely empty. He had just finished watching a movie with some 18+ scenes, and it left him in the mood.
Yesterday evening, while heading back from my friend's place to return her phone for the day as I don't have one yet, I came across a different scene at a busy junction. A woman’s generator had suddenly developed a fault while powering her small roadside stall. There was a bit of smoke from the engine side and one cover was bent awkwardly. Not a total writeoff, but something that needed quick attention. The woman started raising her voice immediately, calling some people on the phone and telling them to come quick and come and carry a man, threatening to report a matter to some advanced area boys. Her tone was sharp and filled with years of builtup stress. I later learnt the man she want them to carry was the repair guy who had rushed over, a calm middle-aged man who hustles with panel beating and generator fixes, was sweating profusely. He kept apologizing and explaining what might have caused the issue, that it wasn't his fault but a normal factory error which is unavoidable and can't be returned, the woman wouldn't listen but kept insisting that the man has to do the refund, but you could tell the potential cost was weighing heavily on him. His quiet demeanor said everything, even if he was to do try to get another one using the money from his account, I could tell that this was another bill that could push him deeper into debt. As I observed from a distance, it struck me how economic pressure turns the smallest inconveniences into major conflicts these days. People are carrying too much deep in their hearts, rising fuel prices, unstable power, school fees, and rent. Even a minor fault feels like the last straw. Patience has become a luxury very few can afford anymore. We need to breathe and show a little more understanding; we’re all fighting the same silent battles. Watching them, I couldn’t help reflecting on how life in Nigeria has become so tense. What used to be “no wahala, let’s settle it” situations now explode because everyone is exhausted. The hustle is real, the margins are thin, and empathy is slowly disappearing from our daily interactions. We’re all in this pressure cooker together. Maybe it’s time we remembered we’re human first before anything else. Life is already hard. let’s not make it harder for each other.
I remember my 200L. 1st semester... Like, I was even far more broke and was even forming “I dey manage.” Rent don expire, foodstuff finish, everyone acting like they got personal beef with me... And my account balance was just 70naira. I was in my room one day, crying alone...

@JAMBHQ That was so unethical of you, you reached out Privately and come here to the public to expose the main outcome without saying anything in dm, Here on TL chasing clouts? That's not how to do things!
@Brandstoryteller, after your emotional video went viral and reached the Board, we promptly reached you for necessary actions to resolve your issue with the institution. Our findings revealed that there's no record with us showing that you attended the claimed school, the matric
Y’all, this post really hit different for me today... I’m usually that girl who tries her best to mind her own business. No jumping into drama, just focusing on my laneBut sometimes life has a funny way of testing that. Last Christmas, I was back home in Lagos at my parents’....
