Today, I had the honour of presenting my teaching team's work on incorporating inclusive practices into our teaching in reproductive biology at the @ReproductionSRB conference at their symposium on diversity and inclusion!
Hot off the press! I just picked up my freshly printed poster that I'm presenting at the upcoming @ReproductionSRB meeting later this week. Thanks to the @PregExposures group for everyone's help with this huge review.
Just published! This review highlights the limited data on the safety of alcohol pharmacotherapies in pregnancy. Balancing untreated AUDs against the medication-related risks is key to supporting the pregnant individual & developing child. @UWAresearch

Chuffed to see @EbonyQuintrell first PhD paper available online.
The paper highlights huge time lags between the onset of #alcohol dependence and treatment, as well as a huge underutilisation of medications.
Congrats EQ!

On Friday, Aster introduced the rest of our lab group to a bit of Ethiopian food and culture. We had a lovely time and managed not to talk about work too much!
Medications to treat alcohol use disorders are severely underutilised in Australia.
Thrilled to share my first published #PhD paper! @UWAresearch

It was so fun getting to present at @WaterRA_updates Know Your Neighbour event yesterday! The wealth of knowlege on water from so many diciplines was amazing. Thanks to WaterRA for the opportunity to talk about my research and to @CWyrwoll for presenting with me.
Congratulations to our 2024 prize-winners: Dr Laura Gerhardy - CI choice for best impact or consumer involvement story; Ms Ebony Quintrell and Dr Erin Kelty for People's Choice awards. 3/4
Our work on better inclusion of genital, sexual, and gender diversity in human reproductive teaching is now out in Advances in Physiology Education. We detail the changes and their impact to inspire other educators. https://t.co/mfEM727vTX @ReproductionSRB
