Having led the school since January 2025, Phil brings nearly three years of prior experience at Mowden Hall in pastoral and safeguarding roles.

His background includes over a decade at Durham Cathedral Schools Foundation as a Housemaster and Biology teacher and earlier, service as a Captain in The Royal Regiment of Artillery.
