Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are four Accounts of the Gospel, and even John says at the end, that there's more that couldn't be written about what Jesus did. That's the Good News that they were preaching, not some tiny sum.

I think Paul's giving a summary, a reminder of the things he taught them, not the whole of it. There's a ton more detail associated with "The Gospel." And yes, the doctrine of the Trinity was *formalized.*

I think the Gospel that was taught by Paul was dramatically more detailed than that summary. For instance, we formalized the Trinity based heavily on his letters; I'd include that as part of the Gospel. Mormon theology is very different.

They're going to have all the guardsmen in that 40k show constantly complaining about how bad living in the imperium is and constantly grumbling about having to pray to the Emperor. Because that's the only theme people coming into it the setting want it to explore, how much the imperium sucks and everyone is forced at gun point to fight and die for a cause they can't honestly believe in. Missing that part of 40k that most guardsmen are super for killing some aliens and proud to be fighting for Terra.

But how would people know if things are bad if they don't have the characters turn to the camera saying "what have we done" whilst sad music plays. We're going to get Avatar with skulls and gothic buildings because it's from Amazon and we've seen how much contempt they've shown LotR.

In reality Guardsmen act more like the marines from Halo.

@learning_yohei I won't say how many guns I own, but I own guns, plural. Some are historic pieces, some are for self-defense, some are for home defense, some are for fun.

@learning_yohei A very cheap gun might be $300; a good gun for self defense is around $700 to $1500; very nice guns might reach $5000; and collector's items like pre-1980's machine guns (cuz they got banned after that) are at least $10,000, usually higher.
