@staffsregiment @lcncathedral @JasonPeach16 This is an incredible discovery. Jack (Lance Sergeant John Daniel Baskeyfield VC) was a very dear friend of my grandparents. Very poignant to be travelling to the Netherlands today exactly 80 years after Jack's remarkable bravery and gallantry in Oosterbeek on 20 September 1944.

@NeilMossey Many thanks for your help. Adding recent photos to the second account is beginning to use its 15GB of storage - it is currently 1.3GB. Is there a way of preventing the storage in the second account building up?

@NeilMossey I have set up a second Google account for photos and videos and activated partner sharing from each to the other. Wasn't sure what to do regarding Backing up from each of the two accounts - whether it should be on or off, and if on to which account.

@NeilMossey I have been wondering too whether removing all photographs and videos into the Bin in Photos temporarily may work. It would be helpful to have a way of identifying which of the current 21GB is causing the problem - may be all of it!

@NeilMossey Many thanks for replying. Reducing the storage from more than 100GB to its current level of 26GB took hours but worked first time. When I try to reduce the current 26GB (of which 21GB is Google Photos), Recover storage on https://t.co/2sXpOYFLbk stops after a few minutes.

@NeilMossey Hello Neil, many thanks for your excellent videos which helped me reduce Google storage from 100GB+ to 26GB (with 21GB of Google Photos). I have tried several times to reduce the remaining 21GB using Recover storage but receive Trouble compressing items message after few minutes.
