You learn what the best move is without building the faculty that finds best moves. The board looks solved. The player never forms. That is the difference between a player who knows the answer and a player who can find one. The engine can hand you the first.

We loved the professional circuit for many years with our 3 sons - opens, nationals, pan am, world, etc. I would walk the GM boards during the games. Our sons have the US record for 3 youngest siblings to be masters and experts. USCF 2200. @PrestiaChess
