Hull-born artist. Studied Fine Art at University of Humberside. I created the Hull City of Culture's Amuse Agents Installation, and also started Yellow Day Hull
@HullMinster Good to see that my original idea is still going strongly. It was originally meant to be a one-off event for the City of Culture; however, Janet Bark was so enthusiastic about carrying on the Yellow Day Hull idea that I couldn't say no to her.
@SELFESTEEM___ "We revere, like, Bowie and the Beatles. There's so many women who were just as good..." I'd love to know which women you were talking about, as I'm scratching my head here. With respect, but I'm not sure you understand how ridiculously brilliant the Beatles were.
I once shared the same page as Prince Harry in the Sunday Mirror back in 2013 (my child-rescue story). Now I'm wondering whether my association with him has tarnished my whiter-than-white image. @PHarryWales @princeharrylook @CountdownHarry@byetwit
I recently bought this terrific postcard from the Bodleian Library shop. Imagine if we could experience perfect silence inside our heads for just one minute a day! @bodleianlibs@ExperienceOx@WhatsOnInOxford
I'm captivated by BBC's The Traitors. I wouldn't mind applying to appear on the show myself (who else could I be, somebody else?). I'm sure it would be highly engaging, challenging, fun and, above all, absolutely memorable.
@Adie996 Things have got worse since Sherlock Holmes left the service. If we had more men like Holmes we could all sleep better at night (or day, if you work nights).
@bbchw Malcolm, sorry to hear about your sad news. You once interviewed me about my book 'Amuse Agents' on BBC Oxford in 2012. You were brilliant. One of my favourite personal interviews. Good luck. You'll be okay.
@lenacorner@BigIssue I switched to the status of anonymous artist somewhat reluctantly, because of a project I created, which upset a few councillors in a certain town.
@lenacorner Do you remember when I raffled myself as the prize in 1996, and you reported the story in the @BigIssue It was a sodding freezing day, traipsing around London, at the mercy of Jane Salathiel.
@lenacorner@BigIssue I work under a different pseudonym. Street art / public spaces (sometimes satirical/political/humorous). I've had quite a successful run over the last 4-5 years. Emily Maitlis told me off on Newsnight for a particular piece that I did.
Hats off to the BBC for its Christmas scheduling. Too many great programmes to list. The Detectorists' Christmas special was worth the licence fee alone.
Janet Bark and her team of Yellowdayers are staging another Yellow Day in Hull next Saturday.
If you want to participate, gather in Trinity Square, outside the Minster, from 10am. Then around 10.30am, a group of Yellowdayers will be heading off on a parade.
