District Sibi: One day orientation session of LHWs and LHSs on Family MUAC has been arranged by the National Program with the support of UNICEF. Session involve measuring MUAC, particularly children under five, to screen for malnutrition at community level through family member.
Birth spacing helps the mother to recover from her previous delivery. If a mother does not wait for at least 3 years for her next pregnancy, she can face many complications like a low birth weight baby, hemorrhage or birth-related complications

Globally, 1.4 billion children lack any form of social protection, leaving them vulnerable to disease, poor nutrition and poverty.
This is unacceptable. Expanding social protection coverage of children in the fight against poverty is critical.

1. Regularly visit your nearest health care facility while pregnant
2. Make sure you receive at least four antenatal (before-birth) visits from a health care professional.
3. Learn about danger signs in pregnancy like bleeding, fever, swollen hands & feet and blurred vision.
District Kachi: Screening of Children and PLWs. Conduction of #KFCP sessions at community level. Referal of children to the OTP sites and Nutrition Stablization Center (NSC) by the LHWs through @UNICEF_Pakistan supported integrated health and nutrition intervention.
