Under the leadership of our Honourable Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the directions of Honourable Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, and the Worthy Secretary Health, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Program, in collaboration with our valued partners including UNFPA, UNICEF, World Health Organization, Indus Hospital and Health Network, IRC, and IDSP, reaffirm our commitment to support and empower Community Midwives through the provision of an enabling environment, professional development opportunities, and due recognition of their indispensable role in the healthcare system.
This commitment holds even greater significance in Balochistan, a province characterized by the largest geographical area, vast landscape, and widely scattered population, where Community Midwives face unique challenges in delivering essential healthcare services to underserved and hard-to-reach communities.
Their contribution remains fundamental in reducing preventable maternal and newborn mortality and in strengthening access to skilled maternal healthcare services across the province. @bakhtkakar43@healthdeptbal@CMOBalochistan
