Back on the pod this week discussing why John 17 came to mind when I saw this on my TV last night, when I heard sports anchors pray on TV this week, and a lot of athletes turned to God in time of trouble. Hope you listen!

A new week, a new podcast. This week takes a look at a Michael Phelps interview and David in 2 Samuel 24 exclaiming: “I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” https://t.co/FHkXB3OhPE

I remember @robertjmarzano saying that positive teacher/student relationships can overcome quite a bit of ineffective pedagogy. You might not teach “perfectly” every day—but you can always show your students that you respect and believe in them. 😃 #atplc
Teachers, to start off 2022, I'm offering two free 30-minute virtual appearances. I can talk about writing, share a preview of I Survived in progress, or whatever you would like. No limit to the number of students, can do grades 3-8. RT to enter. I will notify winners 1/10.
Our team recently decided to spend the first 10mins of meetings sending positive emails home. 10/10 recommend. It’s always on my list but I don’t get around to it as much as I’d like, building it into our structured team time was a great solution and means so much to the Ss. 🙌
I know Nov 8th is #NationalSTEMDay, but we need to make #STEM for every kid EVERYDAY!
I’ll give away 3 copies of #DailySTEM to help…just Retweet to enter!
@plugusin Love it. The only slight change I would make is that the first priority of Tier 2 is the reteaching of essential standards. It’s not the only use of the time. It should also be used to extend the learning of students who have learned the essentials to that point.
Here are 4 graphics that helped me this year!
1. Meet the teacher- ways to introduce yourself
2. Games to boost #studentengagement#edtech
