In Jesus Christ, God chose the humblest historical circumstances and the humblest of creatures, Mary, to reveal the originality of His Kingdom, in which arrogance has no place and omnipotence means creation, service, and care for life.
Do not be afraid to sow without immediately seeing the fruits. The sowing belongs to you; the growth belongs to God. No gesture carried out in the name of Christ is useless.
Jesus said in John, “You didn’t choose Me, I chose you.” God loves to choose strangers: people who don’t seem to fit, people who weren’t raised in faith. You wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t chosen. He handpicked you. Don’t go your whole life thinking you don’t measure up.
@PAOnTheMic@timbertechABP@nacholeber@WesDurham Listened to 2 minutes of your segment on ball trade and turned it off. Clearly slanted opinion trying to appease your puck head buddies at kfan. Hilarious. Embarrassing.
We don’t know what God is up to. God doesn’t send the storm, but He doesn’t waste anything. He wouldn’t have allowed it if it wasn’t going to work to your advantage. Sometimes it’s not the enemy; it’s God orchestrating things we don’t like to move us into our purpose, to prepare us for what we’re going to need later.

“Nobody makes you feel anything. Nobody makes you angry. Nobody makes you tense. You decide.”
This 1-minute clip hits like a lightning bolt:
Blame is the root of every negative emotion.
Cut the blame → the whole tree of anger, upset, fear, resentment dies at once.
Why?
Your conscious mind can only hold one thought at a time.
That single thought controls your emotional reaction.
So replace the blame thought with the most powerful affirmation in existence:
“I am responsible.”
The instant you say it out loud (or even silently), you take back the wheel.
You’re no longer a victim of what “they” did.
You’re the driver again.
No one can make you feel anything without your permission.
The moment you stop giving it, the emotional prison collapses.
Try it right now: Think of someone/something that’s upsetting you → say “I am responsible” → notice what happens inside.
What emotion just lost its grip on you?
David Goggins drops the rawest truth bomb on why most people stay stuck:
"People love to lie about who they're not."
He says the moment you finally stare in the mirror at 40 (or 50, or whatever age) and admit every ugly insecurity, every failure, every weakness—"I'm this, I'm not this, I can't do this"—that's when your real life finally begins.
Once you're brutally honest with yourself, no insult, no slur, no judgment lands anymore.
You’ve already walked through the fire.
You come out the other side every day, open book, eyes locked: "Tell me exactly who the fuck you are."
Then walk away clean.
That truth? It’s the starting line.
Everything before it was just performance.
When was the last time you looked in the mirror and told yourself the full, ugly truth?
Did it scare you… or finally set you free?
@jasonjwilde@MicahhParsons11 Not all players are motivated intrinsically. One could argue a roster that was as young as the packers were this past season are motivated more by others. Micah is the exception as are others (see arodg).
When I lost my job during the dot com crash it was the worst moment of my life. But it was the best thing that ever happened to me. It caused me to ask what do I truly want? What am I meant to do? Why am I allowing fear to hold me back? I began living with faith instead of fear and decided I was going to try to create the life I wanted. I thought I might fail but had to go for it! So often the worst event in your life will lead you to the best!
