Just a reminder about this just over 2 years after it was posted. I didn't receive any interest, but figured it was worth trying again.

The club did look at something in the summer, but communications stopped soon after.

It FA Cup day as the Imps host @Bowerspitseafc in the first round. The last time City faced a team three divisions or below in the FA Cup saw a 4-0 win over Bracknell…..we won’t mention the FA Trophy game against a similar level opposition.

For the record, below is the complete list of first-attempt returners in the automatic relegation era (still in the EFL)....

@mr_jonnyd @Only1Argyle I’ve had this fact in the locker for years, mainly because I always wanted to go, and then we did for the FA Cup game in 2013

It’s Lincoln vs @Only1Argyle today at a wet LNER. My favourite fact about these clubs is that between 2002/3 and 2019/20 there wasn’t a single year where League Two didn’t have one of the two clubs in it, but not once in that time were both in it at the same time.

@mr_jonnyd @Only1Argyle Yep, they were in it together in 2001/2, Argyle won the league and after that, they didn’t play in it again until 2011/12-2016/17, when we were in the non-league. They got promoted to League One, but got relegated back to League Two after we got promoted

Lincoln’s record of conceding the first goal in every home league game continued with a 1-0 defeat to previously winless Ipswich.
