Had the chance to be an RFF teacher for a day...5 classes across all stages doing Motherโs Day craft ๐๐ด Hard, interesting and rewarding! #acuedu_p
With Motherโs Day coming up all casual days have been filled with making something to take home for a special someone. Some examples of what I have done with different years ๐#acuedu_p
Feeling challenged everyday when in EDFD as we talk about the Graduate Teacher Standards but next year I will be referring to a different set of these. Teachers of the Deaf have their own standards that apply to guide their teaching #acuedu_p
Something else I would like to take away/learn from EDFD452 would be how to prepare for professional interviews and what is to be expected at these interactions #acuedu_p
The most profound thing I have learnt is just how hard timetabling for the week is when trying to accommodate for every KLA while remembering out of class time like RFF. I have seen some great examples which will help me with this in the future๐๐๏ธ #acuedu_p
Muru Mittigar is a great cultural site to visit for Geography/History which has catered programs for any age school students and focuses on the people, places and ways of traditional Aboriginal communities. Great to use as a site study! #acuedu_p

My students love this resource that I downloaded from TeachStarter as it provides them with more guidance in their persuasive writing. TeachStarter is an excellent website that I encourage you teachers to explore as it offers incredible resources that are useful! #acuedu_P
'Sally and Possum' is a great resource to use for learning new languages and incorporating ICT! It is a kids show (15 mins an ep) in which they use AUSLAN and each episode is accompanied by teaching notes linked to the Australian Curriculum #acuedu_p . https://t.co/Eoz7GIOzfb
Trying my best to learn & remember all the names of students in my class. I've found using paddle pop sticks with names written on them to be a really helpful strategy not only to build up my memory but also to promote opportunities for student participation in class! #acuedu_p
Had my first 2 days as a casual teacher this week and what fun it was! The art we did was finger painting and stamped with toilet rolls. We do a lot of structured play in deaf units to encourage social skills and the use of their voices ๐#acuedu_p
Created this check list for the Year 2 student I tutor and he found it helped him remember to Incorporate all these elements to successfully write his creative story! #ACUedu_p ๐ค
Just booked my first causal day on my dream class, a K-3 Deaf and Multi Categorical class. Am planning a whole day of Easter activities including this super cute bunny dress up craft! #acuedu_p
