@brassoteach I find for primary having ability tables helps me move around the classroom better and provide support at the right time. If possible an even mix of girls:boys and split up your chatty ones.
Change every half term unless you’ve found an equilibrium.

So many of my class only have the Oxford Reading Tree books we send home so they love it when we get to story time at the end of the day.

@MissUnsworth94 I know, I had to put on the show and it was really tough!! Just give yourself lots of relaxation when you get home. Being busy is great but also getting home and shutting the door helps too.

Thanks for the reminder and permission. I actually had most of the weekend off. Aside from taking phonics books home to prep and making a todo list for QTS assessment. I had 2 naps and watched a film! Still feel tired now but body clearly needed it. #traineeteacher #edutwitter

@MissUnsworth94 I had to deal with a similar situation recently. You get through it I promise! Monday will be hard, make sure your head of department knows or someone at school who you trust so that you can lean on them. Lean on family and friends and know this a reflection on him not you ❤️❤️❤️
